ICHS Update

Good Afternoon,

We hope you have had a good day.

It has been great to see the young people back in school, refreshed and more like themselves. We know how hard the last term was for them and the rest has certainly done them good. It has been a great start to the new term.

There are a few things in this update, so a cup of tea or coffee is advised.

Young Scot Card: With Free Bus Travel

If you are 5-21 years old and live in Scotland you are eligible for free bus travel from 31 January 2022. Applications opened on the 10^th of January.

The easiest and quickest way is to make an application online yourself via this portal: Get Your NEC.SCOT Card (opens new window)

If your young person is aged 11-15 then a parent/ carer will need to apply on the young person's behalf.

If the young person making the application is aged 16-21 they can apply themselves.

If you have any issues making your application or require a paper copy, please contact the school office for assistance.

Please be aware that these cards cannot be used on school organised transport (the school bus). It is for use on public routes only.

We will be reminding young people about this in tutor over the next few weeks.
