S1 Litter Pick

On Wednesday afternoon 18 S1 students worked alongside students and staff from Harrysmuir Primary School to litter pick around the grounds of both schools.

The students that were involved were nominated within their ILP class, and had the opportunity to win an activity lesson for their class based on the most litter collected. The winning pair were Emily Knox and Evie Turner from 1W2.

On a very windy afternoon the group did exceptionally well to collect over 15 bags of litter from the wooded area to the east of the school, with a further litter pick planned for later in the year to clean the area to the north of the football pitch.
