Community Litter Pick

As part of our continuing partnership with Harrysmuir Primary School and the Woodland Trust, a group of S1 students supported a community litter pick on Tuesday last week in the woodland areas near to both schools.

Not only did the group have the opportunity to work in the stunning weather, but they were exceptionally successful in removing over 20 large bags of litter and a variety of items which had been left in the area, including car parts, old toys and even an unwanted chair!

The litter picks will continue on a regular basis in the coming months and will hopefully support the maintenance and improvement of the school grounds and surrounding areas.
