On Friday the 29th June, Inveralmond held a dress down day, where pupils and staff were asked to bring in donations of food and cleaning products for the West Lothian Foodbank, which does such great work supporting those in need in the local community.
As part of our S4 Wider Achievement programme, the year group have been looking at poverty as a focus in their Religious Beliefs and Values course.
We have examined the causes and experiences a large number of people within Livingston have of living in poverty and needing support from various agencies.
The amount of donations we have received has been amazing and the S4 and the senior pupil leadership team who helped out on the day would like to extend our thanks to all those who were able to donate and help to support the community we serve as a school.
