West Lothian Staff launch manufacture of PPE

With the need for front-line workers across the NHS and care sector to be continually provided with Personal Protective Equipment, the manufacturing of face shields started across schools in West Lothian over the last couple of weeks.

Teams of staff have been utilising the industry standard manufacturing facilities within various schools.

At Inveralmond, a team made of staff from a variety of schools, have already produced over 400 face shields with a view to reaching 800 to 1000 face shields a week.
