Friday Update

A few things to update you on

22 May
ICHS

Good afternoon everyone, we hope you are well and looking forward to the weekend. A few things to update you on:

News Section
The news section of our app has been updated with a few articles that include, virtual open days and the charity work of one of our pupils. Well worth a read.

Mental Health Week
Pupils have been working on material related to this during the last week in their PSE teams. It really is so important and if pupils are feeling anxious about their learning or need help with something please give us a call or send an email to the school.

Transition
This has been great as our new S1 join their house teams. They have had the first Headteachers challenge (designing a logo for their house) and the next one is arriving in the team on Wednesday. There is also some great content by following this link: ICHS Transition 2020 (opens new window) This week some of our pupil leadership team, who have just left us, give their thoughts and advice on their time at Inveralmond.

Home Learning
If you need help or a starting point with OneNote, Teams or just structuring your day then there is loads of content in our home learning resource: Continuity of working from home (opens new window)  We will be adding more digital supports videos next week, so it is well worth keeping an eye on this.

Welfare Calls
We have been making calls over the last week and will continue to do so over the coming weeks. Please, don't worry, we just want to say hello, make sure everything is okay and if you have any challenges with IT or learning from home, provide some advice and support.

Have a nice weekend and see you Monday.
