Inveralmond Community High School has agreed to take part in the Young People in Scotland Survey, a survey run by Ipsos MORI. It is sponsored by a number of public bodies, including the Scottish Government.

This year the survey will focus on young people's views on a number of issues, including their future plans, cyber security, gender equality issues, and their wellbeing. It will also ask about their views on climate change and how they make decisions about which subjects to take during the senior phase. The results will help in the planning and development of services for young people in Scotland.

Data from the survey will be kept in the strictest confidence and stored securely, and will be used for this research project only. Pupils will not be asked to give their name, so they cannot be identified in the results.

If your child's class has been invited to participate, they will be sent more information about the survey, including what you should do if you do not wish your child to take part.
