Mobile Phone Procedures

Thank you for your recent participation in the parental survey about mobile phone use in school. There will now be a new mobile phone procedure pilot in our Social Subjects Department. Please see below the procedure.

* When pupils enter the class, they will check the number on their desk. ​

* They will put their phone in the pocket with that number on it. It will stay there unless their teacher tells them that they require to use it for learning (school devices available).

* They will collect this at the end of the period when their teacher directs them to (e.g. row by row).​

This pilot will enable us to gather information on whether this procedure assists in the management of mobile phone use in school.
