Follow Your Inveralmond CHS Exam Timetable

While the SQA exam timetable is a useful guide for national exam dates and times, it is crucial that students follow the timings on their Inveralmond CHS exam timetable. We have the flexibility to adjust exam start times where needed, which means there may be differences between the SQA timetable and our school's schedule. 

To avoid any confusion and the potential impact of missing an exam, students and parents must always refer to the Inveralmond CHS exam timetable rather than relying solely on the SQA schedule. 

The Inveralmond CHS Exam Timetable will be made available here after Easter. 

Coursework Submission

As we approach the final stages of this academic year, it is essential that students complete and submit their coursework on time. Meeting submission deadlines ensures that students maximise their chances of achieving their highest possible grade.

Attendance at Exams

Attendance at all exams is compulsory. Students must be present in full school uniform for all scheduled exams unless they have a valid medical certificate or another approved personal reason. Missing an exam without valid justification may affect final grades and future opportunities. 

Impact of Incomplete Coursework or Missing an Examination

For S4 and S5 students, failure to complete the necessary coursework could put their progression at risk. Students who do not complete the required coursework may not be able to return for S5 or S6 next year. 

For S6 students, coursework completion is also linked to eligibility for attending prom. Any student who does not complete their required coursework will not be permitted to attend. Additionally, students who miss any of their final exams will not be able to attend prom unless they meet the SQA criteria for an Exceptional Circumstance.
