NHS Lothian Community Vaccination Team for Schools are running a Drop-In Clinic Sunday 14th June, 12pm-4pm, at Howden Health Centre, Livingston.

If your young person has missed any school vaccinations, or if you would like advice or information, please come along. We can carry out vaccination history checks and offer the following vaccines on the day:

Meningitis ACWY
Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)
Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)
Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio (DTP)

In the UK, the MMR vaccine (measles, mumps, and rubella) is given in two doses, offering long-lasting protection. In the UK the first dose is given at 12 months, and the second is typically given at 18 months or around 3 years and 4 months, children only require two doses to be fully protected.
