Finding My Tribe
'Finding my Tribe' is the West Lothian CLD Youth Services, activity programme during Children's Mental Health Week 2026 - 9 to 15 February.
The week aims to raise awareness of children and young people's mental health and ensure their voices are heard. Feeling accepted and valued in our friendships, schools, families and communities plays a vital role in children and young people's mental health and wellbeing.
This year's campaign encourages the adults, services and systems around children and young people to help create inclusive, nurturing environments where they feel they belong and can confidently say, "these are my people" and "this is my place" focusing on the importance of belonging.
101 Youth Project provides the perfect location to embrace the 2026 theme -
101 Youth Project provides a dedicated space in the Centre, Livingston for young people.
It is a vibrant hub for youth activities & services.
Young people were actively involved in the design of the unit from the outset, helping decide on the facility, design, layout, content as well as potential activities/usage.
Young people describe the space as "Modern", "Vibrant", "Welcoming" and "Exciting"
During the week there will be a range of targeted opportunities for young people to take part in (see information attached), with these hopefully informing future programmes and activities available in 101 Youth Project, including the launch of our next 'Me Time' programme.
